GE3S specializes in ISO 50001 Consultancy Service

ISO 50001 is standard developed by International Organization for Standardization. It provides guidance on designing, implementing and maintaining an energy management system. ISO 50001 was initially launched in 2011.
GE3S helps in achieving ISO Certification in multidisciplinary sectors of ISO. ISO 50001 provides approach for energy management and was developed in response to a request from the UNIDO (United Nations Industrial Development Organization). The main objective is to help organizations develop and implement an energy management system that can helps in energy efficiency and optimization challenges.

GE3S with the help of trained and experienced professionals holds sounds understanding of ISO 50001 framework for implementing technical and management strategies that will significantly cut energy costs and greenhouse gas emissions over time. The system includes development of an energy policy, objectives for improving the efficient use of energy, a timeline with target dates for meeting objectives and an action plan that specifies exactly how the organization’s objectives will be met.
As other ISO standards the ISO 50001 uses the Plan, Do, Check, Act framework. During the planning phase, the organization sets objectives and targets for energy optimization, using current energy efficiency measurements to establish a baseline energy consumption scenario. During the do phase, the organization implements actions to improve energy efficiency. During the check phase, the organization monitors measures and evaluates their energy consumption performance and compares the results to their baseline. During the act phase, the organization decides what changes are required to be undertaken next to improve energy performance. The cycle then continuously repeats with a new planning phase and energy efficiency is continuously achieved.
GE3S with continuous improvements, along with ISO 50001. Help an organization make better use of their existing energy-consuming equipment and asset, create transparency and improve communication about energy consumption, promote energy management best practices and help prioritize the implementation of energy-efficient technology.

The ISO does not issue the certifications by itself for ISO 50001 compliance but certifications are normally issued by an accredited third-party agency. The list of several accredited evaluators is available on the ISO website. Certification is valid for a period of three years and is then renewed.
