GE3S Academy provides a platform to get professional training from experts of Green Building Industry. GE3S training programs are conducted by experienced USGBC faculty with at most consideration in the training sessions. The LEED GA Exam is administered by the Green Business Certification Inc. (GBCI) for professionals seeking to earn credentials and certificates. The exams test knowledge is based on the U.S. Green Building Council’s Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design (LEED) Rating Systems.
LEED is one of the most popular green building certification programs used worldwide, developed by the non-profit U.S. Green Building Council (USGBC). These Green ratings are aimed to help building owners and operators be environmentally responsible and use resources efficiently. The LEED GA credential requires adherence to the LEED Professional Disciplinary and Exam Appeals Policy.
The LEED Green Associate exam is a computer-based exam that consists of 100 random questions which are chosen randomly from the LEED GA Handbook. The content of the exam focuses on the LEED project process (including integrated design), core sustainability concepts, green building terminology, and various aspects of the LEED rating systems. There are no prerequisites required for the exam. However, GBCI recommends that candidates have exposure to LEED and green building concepts through educational courses, volunteering, or work experience prior to testing. Candidates are required to agree to the Disciplinary and Exam Appeals Policy and Credential Maintenance Program and submit to an application audit. To maintain your LEED Credential, LEED GA must complete 15 continuing education (CE) hours within the period of 2 Years.
