Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design, also known as LEED is a well-known green building rating system, which, when complied with, the project is given a LEED certification. This certification helps in assuring that a building is efficient in terms of energy, water and resource and does not compromise the comfort of its habitants. This certification can be achieved by getting credits or scores in certain features of sustainability which are specifically designed for green buildings and we help companies achieve this certification as leed consultancy. These aspects or criteria include parameters like indoor environmental quality, waste, watersustainable sites, location and transport, energy efficiency, and resource management, etc. Each of this criteria is given some weightage in terms of score.

The project stakeholders, who wish to get their project certified may chose and apply for a number of credits and as leed consultant we help clients prioritise the credit. Some of the points are pre-requisites, which are required to be done in order to achieve the certification. A score of at least 40 points must be secured in order to achieve the minimum level of LEED certification. If the project does not achieve at least 40 points along with the mandatory points, the project will not be awarded any certification at all. The more the project scores, the higher level of certification the project achieves, thus making it more renowned. These levels of certification are- LEED Certified, Gold, Silver and Platinum.
