Sustainability Reporting has been evolving in the last decade. GRI standards are one of the most widely used standards for reporting on sustainability performance. GRI standards also have sectoral supplement for different sectors such as aviation, oil and gas etc. GE3S has been assisting companies to develop sustainability reports for several years now. Our team is based in Dubai, Abu Dhabi and India, through these offices our sustainability experts have been helping companies to develop sustainability reports. As a sustainability reporting consultant we have provided services to more than 20 companies in the Middle East and Asia.


We have recently provided advisory services to a transport sector company for developing its sustainability reports. The company is involved in the transportation of industrial liquids and fluids and have operations across several countries in Africa, the Middle East and Asia.  GE3S assisted in conducting stakeholder consultation for the company through this stakeholder consultation a materiality metric was developed. The materiality metric helped identify the core issues that the company should report on. Being a sustainability reporting consultant GE3S has helped several clients in stakeholder consultation as well as in identifying material issues.

Further, GE3S assisted in developing data collection checklist for the material aspects and then facilitated data collection by following up with different offices. Once the data was available GE3S did a benchmark exercise to set a baseline. The data was analyzed and the performance trends were generated. We assisted the company in the wording of the reports, as well as in the graphic designing of the report.  The report was in line with GRI's core option. The report was also sent to GRI for Materiality Services.

GE3S also assisted the company in setting up short term sustainability strategy wherein short term goals and targets were identified to be achieved within a years time. The goals and targets were set for improving gender diversity, energy performance, water performance, waste performance as well as indoor air quality.
